Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture, Inc. (ITEA)

ITEAThe Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture teaches a four year program in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture. ITEA is accredited by ACAOM, the national accrediting agency for Acupuncture in the USA*. Upon completion of its program, graduates receive a Master of Acupuncture in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture.

Applicants must have at least 76 semester credits of college level courses. Students are free to live anywhere for the first two years of the program, and must relocate to Louisville, Colorado for the last clinical years.

LIFEALondon Institute of Five-Element Acupuncture (LIFEA)

LIFEA offers a three year professional training in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture. We are currently at Stage One of the accreditation process with the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board.

Students will receive a Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic.Ac.) on successful completion of the course.

FOR LICENSED PRACTITIONERS

Great Lakes Institute for Training in Classical Acupuncture

The first training program of its kind in the Midwest, this program offers 425 hours of teacher-student contact.

  • 225 hours of didactic instruction, consisting of 8 four day sessions, over approximately 8 months;
  • 200 hours of clinical training, consisting of 100 hours of clinical observation and 100 hours of supervised treatments, carried out at each student’s individual pace and with their choice of approved practitioners.

Didactic instruction is based on the teachings of JR Worsley and includes diagnostic procedures, point location, Five Element theory, treatment planning and patient rapport. At completion of the full course, graduates will be confident and competent in all aspects of treatment, and will qualify for further study with JB Worsley. Call us, we’d love to talk with you!
